Just came back from a fantastic trip with my friends! We stayed for 1 night and had a blast visiting the racecourse and exploring the local shops. The staff were super friendly, and we loved the comfy family room. Definitely a great spot for a night out with friends.
One of my friends dealt with a stinky room issue that really took away from our experience. It was a shame the hotel didn't manage that better.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the warm breakfast and the cozy atmosphere in the lounge. The view of the river from our clean double room was stunning, and it was such a treat to unwind with the complimentary tea in the evening. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but it didn't take away from our overall experience! 😊

The single room I stayed in was super comfy! The bed was really nice and cozy, which helped me sleep well both nights. No weird smells or issues to worry about. The decor felt a bit old but added some charm. I'd say the comfort here is definitely a highlight.

Recommend it for solo travelers looking for a budget stay
First off, the man at the pub was a real lifesaver for me. Treated me with respect when I was feeling a bit nervous. Plus, the river views from my room, very nice,. Just perfect for reflecting on my life.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Ugh, what a nightmare stay. The room was filthy and I swear it smelled like something died in there. The shower? Yeah, it was broken and the water pressure was a joke. the breakfast service was a bit gross when the waitress coughed all over my coffee. At least the bar area was nice.
